Currently I am listening to two different recordings of "Mozart!" and comparing them, trying to decide which songs from which recordings are better.

I'm listening to the Narnia movie soundtrack and inspiration album, and LDC l'integrale too. I love them all--it seems I won't be purchasing anything new for a while.... BTW, does anybody know the truth about LDC's 33-track recording?

In the other car: Forbidden Broadway SVU. I know this was from a long time ago, but I'm so glad to find someone else who likes Forbidden Broadway!

I know this was from a long time ago, but I'm so glad to find someone else who likes Forbidden Broadway! I *looooove* Forbidden Broadway. It's amazingly funny. I hope they bring back the Les Mis parodies (or do new ones!) when the show comes back to Broadway. Those were always among my favorites. MiladyDeWinter

I *love* people who don't take themselves too seriously and can write witty lyrics!
I especially like it when they do parodies of HUGE cult shows, like Rent, Wicked, Les Mis, POTO, and Cats.
Not that I *hate* any of those shows, it's just fun to see their weaknesses exposed sometimes.
People who are obsessed with them can be so *serious* about them , and it makes it more light-hearted and fun.

Just finishing listening to Classical Compositions by Mozart, J-pop(Crystal Kay is my new J-pop Idol, second to Ayumi Hamasaki), and now I just popped in The Highlights To POTO. It has been a long time I heard the OLC and it just struck me like lightning that this is how I remembered it when I first listened to it. Its emotional.

Right now I'm listening to Evita. Usually, I listen to CDs, and this is one of the few shows I still have on a cassette. Some days ago I had to take the car (with no cd player ) and found the old cassette lying there... I had forgotten how much I love the show!!

I'm now listening to Mozart! Budapest album that somebody was kind enough to send me! I like it very much--I expected it would be great. After all, I had already heard many of the actors and actresses on the Romeo & Julia album:) "Csillagok aranya" is even better than the original "Gold von den Sternen"! The bad thing? It has too few songs!

For the last week or so, I've been obsessed with my new satellite radio hookup (XM, for those who are interested.) The Broadway channel is excellent (where else will you get the overture from LitP or "Dressed in Your Pajamas in the Grand Salon" ). You can listen for free on xm.com and check it our for yourself!
