*sighs* I've had ESC entries in my head for a few days. Currently it's the Finnish entry, 'Leave Me Alone' by Hanna, though at other times today it's been the Hungarian entry, 'Unsubstantial Blues'. At least both are songs that I like...

I've had a mixture of Finland, Switzerland, Belarus, Ukraine, United Kingdom and Bulgaria since Friday. Yippee.

Am I the only one thinking that the British entry on Eurovision this year looked like a commercial from British Airways?

It had better not be, otherwise BA is going to do very badly indeed... When the British entry was on, I think I was too busy gaping at how bad it is to think about anything else. Of course the ESC has been a bastion of bad taste for a long time, but this was still almost unexpected... Mind you, I was positively surprised by the contest this year. I actually liked both the winner and the second best entry, and this is the second year in a row that a song I liked was the winner. What on earth is happening to the ESC?
