Demica, to answer your questions:
A prom is a formal dance held by US high schools for their students (usually for the 11th and 12th graders, but younger students can go if they're invited). Girls wear formal gowns and dresses, and boys wear tuxedos and suits. There's dancing, food and drinks, and lots of socializing.
Flashbacks happen a lot in movies. It's when they show an event that happened in the past. I wish I could think of a good example, but I'm drawing a blank right now. If you still don't understand, just ask!

So, in order to avoid all the useful things I should be doing, I thought I'd dig this thread back and open my iTunes, because I've never done this... I'm leaving out any songs that comes up twice, or anything that, well, doesn't officially exist. Opening Credits: Érted szulettem ("I was born for you" - Rudolf) - so, my story is actually a cheesy romance? or just starts out as one? or it's a tragic tale of insanity and suicide but happens to be composed by Frank Wildhorn? Waking Up: Ah, das Fräulein Mozart! (Mozart! OVC) ... this kinda fits for such a scene First Day At School: The Islander (Nightwish) Falling In Love: Gott Warum? (Rebecca) - uh... that sounds like an interesting song for such a scene. Breaking Up: Gold von den Sternen (Mozart!) - well, that makes sense in a way... Needing to leave behind a loved person in order to go and seek my dreams. Prom: Léhetz király remix (Les Rois du Monde from the Hungarian Roméo et Juliette, in this case from the Mindhalálig Musical CD) - hey, that works really well! Dance Sequence: Rastlose Jahre (Elisabeth, Wien 1996 CD)... and that totally doesn't work! Though it could be interesting. Life's OK: Bitte, meine Herren! (Tanz der Vampire OVC) Breakdown: Arkangeli (CMX, a Finnish band)... They do have good angst lyrics, but I'm not sure if this one works. Driving: Wish I Could (Norah Jones) Flashback: Nur ein Tag (Wicked - die Hexen von Oz) Getting Back Together: An Deck der Sinkende Welt (Elisabeth) Wedding: A Bal (Vámpírok Bálja - ie. Tanzsaal from Tanz der Vampire in Hungarian) *cracks up* Okay, now I'm starting to like this movie. Sex Scene: White Christmas (Caroline Vasicek and Ethan Freeman) *cracks up again* Well, I suppose it works if it happens on a Christmas... Birth of Child: Mädchen der Nacht (Jekyll & Hyde, Vienna cast)... Well, that doesn't sound too hopeful. Final Battle: True Love Ways (Die Buddy Holly story) Death Scene: Fény (Fame in Hungarian - Bereczki Zoltán & Szinetár Dóra)... well, at least I'll be famous when I die? Or die to be famous? Funeral Song: Alles ist hell (Tanz der Vampire OVC)... *giggles* At least it's not too sad a funeral. End Credits: Bye Bye Beautiful (Nightwish)

Falling In Love: ------------- Rebecca (Rebecca OWC) Breaking Up:--------- All I ask of you - reprise (PotO OLC) Prom:----------- Totale Finsternis (Tanz der Vampire OWC) Dance Sequence:---------- New year's Eve (Sunset Boulevard OLAC) Life's OK:--------------------- He Is Not Dead Yet (Spamalot OBC) Breakdown:------------------ Gethsemane (JCS Vienne Concert Cast) Driving:--------------------- Travel Hopefully (By Jeeves OLC) Flashback:-------------------- Die Schatten werden länger (Elisabeth Original Essen Cast) Getting Back Together:----- Jenseits der Nacht (Rebecca OWC) Wedding:--------------------- Alles (3 Musketiers ODC) Sex Scene:------------------- Dangerous game (J&H Ressurection) or Finale (Dracula) Birth of Child:---------------- Tradition (Fiddler on the Roof OLC) don't ask why... Final Battle:------------------ Confrontation (J&H OCR) Death Scene:---------------- Requiem (Mozart - the composer) Funeral Song:---------------- Wie wird man seinen Schatten los? (Mozart!-the musical) End Credits:-------------- As if we never said goodbye (Sunset Boulevard OLAC)

My playlist lives to please! The PotO overture and "We Sleep With Everyone" totally cracked me up. Anyone who is unfamiliar with "Conjunction Junction" (especially the grammar junkies) must watch this immediately: www.youtube.com/watch?v=-cQpVZ5Kif0

My playlist lives to please! The PotO overture and "We Sleep With Everyone" totally cracked me up. Me too! lso, that's a pretty impressive final battle. My playlist just mostly gave me entirely random things. Though I liked Tanzsaal for a wedding scene.
