Well, audience memebers are tyhe life-blood of the theatre or else we'd be doing it alone. So true! That's why I try to go to as many performances as I can, even if they are "only regional". I like to think that I'm keeping theatre alive through performing *and* supporting other performers

Zujin?? tyhe?? what does that mean?? Basically what he is saying is, with out an audience, the actors and techies and such would be playing to an empty house (alone)

when i was dorothy in the wizard of oz i forgot the words to over the rainbow on opening night.... it was only a few seconds but it felt like an eternity. when i was in christmas carol this year during the like 4th or 5th show a bunch of my friends came to see me and during a big number my skirt became untied and fell down. i had a slip and white tights on underneath and i got it back up pretty fast, but it was so embarrassing and i had to hold my skirt up for the rest of the huge dance number that included a lot of *clapping.* yeah that didn't happen. lol

Ahh! That's awful (lol)! This summer during 7 Brides we (the brides) were doing a reprise of "We've gotta make it through the winter" and we had this cute little dance that we did. Well, one of the girls was like 2 months pregnant, and I guess she just got too big for her skirt (they were all pretty tight anyway) and the button on the back just popped off and it started to fall off of her! But the best thing was, she didn't even notice for a little while (we were wearing petticoats), so all us other girls were trying to make signs to her during the dance and song that her skirt was falling off! It was hilarious, and the audience loved it.

I've never done anything even remotely professional (probably due to my terrible voice!) but I did a lot of theater when I was younger:
"Annie"-Molly "Oliver"-Ensemble "Oliver"-Bette "The Wizard of Oz"-Dorothy "Free To Be'-Ensemble "You're a Good Man Charlie Brown"-Sally
and a bunch of nonmusical plays

Of course it counts! Everytime I go to see a show, my friends and I go to look in the pit at intermission and try to talk to one of the musicians... or conductor... its awesome

I *love* instrumentalists and orchestras...I'm actually taking a scoring and arranging for orchestra class right now at college...it is so much fun! Profharoldhill, that's awesome that you play English Horn..pretty rare.

Lesse, in no particular order (though prolly the order in which I like the parts to some degree):
Just was cast in Bye Bye Birdie as Albert (I think two days ago I found out) Once on this Island as Papa Ge (Sly Demon of Death!) Urinetown as Mr. Cladwell Grease as Roger Anything Goes as Moonface Guys and Dolls as Benny Southstreet Cinderella as the Prince South Pacific as Quail Hello Dolly as Ambrose
Hmmm, I'm forgetting some I'm sure. Oblah dee.
I'm psyched for Bye Bye Birdie to start though...even though I hate the show. Honestly, since its my first lead (as in THE lead), it makes me more excited/nervous about it. It's silly kinda as its not a big difference but somehow psychologically it is.
