You say "merde" whenever someone says "Macbeth"... you know that Gwen Stefani totally gets it. You know anything can be fixed with gaff tape, Mortite, sculpt-er-coat, a sharpie, tie-line, a safety pin or enough staples. I don't exaclty understand those three. Could someone please explain? Thanks! By the way: I counted, four of them don't apply to me. I'm just so proud to be a real....... well, playnerd!

You say "merde" whenever someone says "Macbeth"... Some people believe that saying merde is the counter to the "Mackers" curse.
you know that Gwen Stefani totally gets it. This one i have no clue about
You know anything can be fixed with gaff tape, Mortite, sculpt-er-coat, a sharpie, tie-line, a safety pin or enough staples. All those things are in a stage managers pockets. And trust me, if it's broken, ripped or not staying in place, one of those will do the job!

I don't get the Gwen Stefani one either...all I could think of was her songs that sampled the songs from the Sound of Music & Fiddler on the Roof..anyone got any idea about this? lol

I kinda get the one about Gwen Stefani. It just means that her music is really good.
I don't listen to her stuff, but I know many people love her music.

You don't have to be an SM or an ASM for it to apply to you. It just matters that you know it.

.... sentences like "I really liked ODM at the final B'way LM" make complete sense.
... you re-track a cast recording because you think your way makes more sense than the way it was done on the release
... you make top ten lists for all your theatre favorites (actors, shows, songs, productions) all day long but won't consider making a list for grocery shopping

You're watching West Wing and they tell Sam to go outside, circle 3 times and spit and you think of this thread.

You are driving by a school and a poster on the doors to said school catches your eye, more like the font does, as you drive past at about 40 km/h. No need to take a closer look, you know it's the font used for "Annie"
