OMG! I wouldn't like Michael Crawford as JVJ, his voice just isn't suited to the role. I also don't like Colm Wilkinson in the role I saw him in Dublin, and although perhaps initially he was good in the role, in Dublin he gave a very selfish performance IMHO. Depending on the conductor, he slowed the pace down in some places and at one point made it impossible for Marius to sing on his cue. I also think his eyebrows had a separate contract for acting On the other hand, Peter Corry acquired a lot of new fans there, acting brilliantly

Colm never wanted to be playing in Dublin - Cameron Mackintosh literally begged him to do it. This fits right in with his track record of being a diva. So a big to him. MiladyDeWinter

I just got really really into Les Mis and I'm really glad that I did because the music is PHENOMINAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love Frances Ruffelle as Eponine, her voice is fantastic, I cry everytime I hear, "A Little Fall of Rain" I also just found the 10th anniversary Concert DVD and my mom said she'd get it for me at the end of the week! WOOOOOOHOOOOOO!!!! I'm also going to see it on the 31st of May and so I'm even more super duper excited.
I LOVE LES MIS!!!!!!! ~Fiyeroluver15 ;D

I love Frances Ruffelle as Eponine, her voice is fantastic, I cry everytime I hear, "A Little Fall of Rain" I'm sorry..but i feel the need to say something right now.. ARE YOU ON CRACK?!.. sorry but.. imo.. Frances Ruffelle is the WORST Eponine i think..ever to play Eponine... her tone = HORRIBLE.... her voice quality = blughahgfa(yes it's a word--cause i say so).. and her.. portrail of the character = blugh! If you want to hear good Eponine's-- listen to (i know cliche) Lea Salonga... Sutton Foster does a very good Eponine. and then check otu this website where it has clips of all the old tour casts lesmis.cafemusain.com/sounds/sounds.html

Unless Liv Erin Pedersen, Chadia Cambie, and several others are eradicated from the history of the world, I don't think Frances has to worry about being the worst Eponine ever... MiladyDeWinter

I agree with Milady... while Frances Ruffelle isn't the greatest Eponine, there are still many who are worse than she is. *snickers as she thinks of a few of the them* And I must say Lea Salonga's Eponine isn't my favorite either.. while I love her and her voice, her portrayal of Eponine strikes me as a bit too bold and strong. But that may be just me.

I agree I like the inbetween... I must say Sutton's Eponine is amazing... but I also love Lea... if she just toned the diction down a tiny bit it'd be really great
