I guess so! I never really got into it though. When the Grease show came on, I forced myself to watch it, but I just didn't like it. I also watched a couple episodes of Any Dream Will Do on YouTube, which was okay..

I recon this has to be a joke, it just sounds so python humour to release something which takes the piss out of Reality TV

This is really bugging me. And now it seems ALW is going to do another one over here in the US.

There's no word yet. There was an article I think on both Playbill and Broadwayworld. I'm too lazy to dig it up at the moment.

Well at least it's a musical I don't care for and won't want to see anyways.
Bah, I know theatre needs publicity, I just can't stand this reality stuff.

I actually like them. Cause it gives us an option to cast. So we don't end up with a crap person as the lead. *cough*David Hasselhoff: Jekyll & Hyde*cough*

Well I don't think it's full proof from that. The popular vote could be someone bad and I honestly feel some of these people who get casted are too green to handle performing a leading role.

We've had very sucessful people in the UK. Lee Mead (Joseph) and Connie Fisher (Maria) are phenomenal!

But it still doesn't mean someone bad will get in. The chances of someone bad being in the show are equal.

Well, someone bad did get in this last time. Jodie Prenger. (I loathed her...)

Personally I loathed the whole thing from start to finish. This was more or less cameron mackintosh's way of getting into the reality TV thing. Had nothing to do with Lloyd Webber at all. If he wanted to cast the show he should have atleast done it himself.

I totally agree. Jodie was... a car-crash. Rachel and Fran both had way more talent.
