I was in the library yesterday (they were open in the night for the release of Harry Potter... ;D), and tried to find "Les mis", but it wasn't there... The sixth book just came out in Italy? If you haven't read it yet, it is GOOD.

And then finally I'll be able to talk to someone about it!! My friend says in Spanish they tried to translate the last names of the professors, did they do the same in Italian?

We're getting a bit OT... But yes, they translated most of the names. From Dumbledore, McGonagall and Snape (respectively, Silente, McGrannit and Piton) to Longbottom (Paciock) and... I saw that yesterday... Slughorn, who became Lumacorno... As usual, I've got mixed feelings about some of these translations...

I got Wicked by Gregory McGuire for Christmas....I'm actually quite disappointed in it, what did you all think of it? I suppose I can't criticise too much as I'm not finished it yet but I was just wondering what you all thought..... I'm also reading Angels and Demons and Hayley Westenra's biography.

Wicked is good once you have finished it, it is a nice read while reading it, but it TRULY sinks in after you have finished.

Ok personally I found both Son of a Witch and Wicked quite boring at parts and excting in others. (If you need a boring part in Wicked the chapters where they are getting to the castle)

The key to reading the book is not to think of the show and rather the movie. It makes more sense if Elphaba is ugly.

yea.. i read it before i hera the musical... My brother bought Wicked the day of it's release, and I read it about a week after that. I enjoyed it, but I have heard many people, that where introduced to Wicked VIA the Musical, say that they've found it boring, & confusing

Well with everyone who reads a book after they have seen the movie\musical\play is bound to find it different\boring\unlikable which is the reason why I didn't like Big Fish (but then again I never finished it...)
