When there was the European Championship in Portugal, I was in Germany in an international environment, which made the championship so much fun!! My French friend used to sing " Allez les Bleux" (Sandrine, spelling?? ) which I found sooooo funny... Then, there were the Dutch people always wearing orange, and very angry at Germany... And we Italian, who played sooo bad...

Of course we Dutch always wear orange when Holland plays.
And when we play, you can alway see on what side of the field the Dutch fans are, it is just one big party and orange every were.
and don't forget on the FIFA world list we are second under the Brazilians and above the French.
And the best matches are when Holland and Germany plays together. There is such rivalry between the two country's. That is truly war on the field

It's true that Greece wasn't expected as champion lol Now I remember that we were eliminated by you LOL ;D I don't know if we could ever won again a championship!! Anyway now I am watching rugby and I love it!!!! I hope that we will do good for the next world cup plus it's in France so it will be a shame lol!! I can't next Friday!!!!!!

I was also just wondering,
Soon the Olimpics in Turin start.
Besides the opening and closing, which sport are you going to whatch.
I think i'm going to watch the ice-scating. I'm always folling it. I think the Dutch are weak this year. I think a second Dutch victory on any distance is going to be a lot less than in Salt Lake City the last time. I think the American have the most chances for a medal by the men, by the woman it will be the German.

Ooooo, the Winter Olympics. Now we're talking. Of course I will be glued to figure skating Go Stephane and Shen & Zhao! (I'll leave it at that, rather than go into my long list of cheering). I will probably watch speed skating as well. (Not cheering for anyone there since I don't follow it. Not like they ever show it on tv anyways). Everything else I watch will just be what I catch on tv.
Lora- I'm pretty sure there are (or have been) Greek figure skaters. I swear I saw a Greek name or two on the result list for the European Championship.

Okay someone tell me if I'm a nut! I just drove 3 hours through a SNOW STORM to watch one of my fave hockey teams play, and then drove another 3 hours home through an even worse Snow Storm.....
Does it help my case for Sanity that my cousin plays for the team my fave. team was playing against?

Canadian born by Greek parents, who trains abroad because there are no ice-scating rings in Greece (or at least in Athens). There were 2 but they closed a couple of years ago

That seems to be how it goes with many countries. Glad to know I wasn't imagining a Greek skater.
