^Let me know if you see it! I am curious about the show, I have the cast recording. It's alright but it seems like one of those shows you need to see before appreciating.

I've never made it all the way through the cast recording, so I also think you need to see it to appreciate it. Let us know if you do see it.

^ It doesn't mean it's not good. I have heard mixed things about the show. I like some of the recording, but not all of it. There are a few shows that I did not care for from only listening to the recording, but once I saw it, I loved them.

Got ya! ^^ Actually it's kinda hard not to see this show due to the cast and all. I usually loved musicals made by this musical company. Oh Spring Awakening will be produced by this company next year. www.musicalheaven.co.kr/index.php

Ohh Spring Awakening! I hope for a recording of this in Korean(its not my fault I am obsessed with listening to Musicals in an Asian language), ! But I really hope for any of Kunze & Levay Musicals to hit Korea anytime soon, especially Rebecca and Elisabeth.

Although I don't find that very possible in the mid-term, I would love to get a Korean CD of Rebecca. Because judging my the CD of Jekyll & Hyde, Korean is much more pleasent to the hear than japanese...at least from comparing both Japanese and Korean versions of the show.

*Evil Dead I was in Seoul on the weekend and saw 4 musicals in a row. Evil Dead was the first. I haven't seen the movie Evildead. In all honesty, I don't like this kinda genre But I thought it'd be at least different to see a musical version on stage and yes it was. ;D It's a definitely funny show that makes you find screaming without knowing it lol It's worth seeing once if you are indifferent to those evil, ghost, vampire or whatever. I think the idea of making this genre to a musical itself is brilliant It's so new to me anyway ^^

This show is directed by a woman director who is quite popular with theater goers The set is very minimal but chic and going very well with the lightings so I really liked that.the cast is very good cause most of them are for leading role in other shows usually so I was so happy when they sing together like "company" and "side by side" I think joy of Sondheim shows is watching how the actors handle that beautiful but not easy songs perfectly That means if there's even one person that doesn't sing really well It could harm the show big time lol and there's one person makes me sad lol he made up for it as his acting though. and the story, rather the concept didn't speak to me a little...Maybe too New York-y?? but I really enjoyed show and I wanna see that one more time if I could. ;D

I can imagine this being a good production for localising to reflect local issues, as it was written to be about the upper middle classes in New York who would be buying the majority of tickets to see the show.

I agree. It needs to localize a little.... but I guess they don't have guts to change Sondheim piece or They wanted but couldn't due to licensing issue......

Coming to Korea in June: Eurobeat Almost Eurovision www.eurobeatthemusical.comI saw this about a week ago on its pre-West End tour (opening in Sept.) and it's incredibly funny with catchy tunes and campy over the top joy. The show will be performed in Korean though cast in Australia. Finally Back home and saw EUROBEAT Friday night in Daegu. It's a very hilarious mimic of Eurovision which I have never seen for obvious reason.I got a pin with the national flag pressed on it from one of the staff as I went through the main entrance. I was destined to be a citizen of Greece that night lol My big sis got the pin of Italy and both had to root for each nation like crazy in the beginning haha and when you meet the situation that you gotta vote via text msg. in real, It's not a joke anymore.I was so serious watching the voting results through the whole Act 2 lol The Russian team won first prize due to a large number of women audience though. There's a autograph session after the show I even took a pic with the actor I chose the first rank lol I really enjoyed the show and my sis is kind of a person someone who is not easy to get impressed but she liked it too Whee ;D ;D Oh the cast was so good! The songs are easy to remember and not bad, I am not sure if those are truth or just stereotypes but anyway it's well-made in a humorous and sarcastic way I think.
