Don't forget the debacle that was American Buffalo.
And don't forget that Hair is also coming in.

Oh yeah, I forgot completely about HAIR.
But still it doesn't look too good say in the end of Jan '09! Not much new shows to choose from.

And when will they open Frankenstein on Broadway? With Mel Brookes version closing, I think it would be a nice idea to open a decent version of it Isn't Disney opening anything else new on Broadway? Like the english version of Hunchback of Notre Dame or something?

The English version of Der Glockner von Notre Dame would be great! I saw it at the newly opened theatre in Potsdamer Platz and really enjoyed it. Its far less disneyfied than some and less aimed at younger kids. And the ending is 'proper' unlike the cartoon version.

Add Boeing-Boeing to the closing list. They've posted a January 4th end date.

My drama teacher told me that '13' would be extended until February 28, but I cannot find any sources linking to that; any thoughts or sources?

My drama teacher told me that '13' would be extended until February 28, but I cannot find any sources linking to that; any thoughts or sources? January and February are the traditional slow months on Broadway, so I really doubt that there's any chance of anything extending. Unless of course someone buys up mounds and mounds of tickets, but I don't think that's going to happen, especially since 13 doesn't have a rabid fan base. In better times, I might have said it was possible for them to extend a week or two, but this year, not likely.

I doubt it will be... it's not doing very well. Everyone I know that's seen it said it was a good idea but doesn't translate well.

13? Yeah, I think 13 and [title of show, among many others, seemed better suited for Off-Broadway. Just my opinion.
