I can't believe they're a week away. I've been out of the loop this year. I am not ever sure I will watch, I'll probably forget. Not very good for a theatre fan, huh?

I'm watching it ... but I don't think they are live streaming the "Creative" Awards this year which is a shame.

I don't even think PBS is broadcasting it this year either.

PBS hasn't for the last couple of years. That's when it moved to live stream. Very disappointing either way.

Yeah, I think its been 3 years. It was the last year I sat through the entire thing actually. A shame that a night that is supposed to be important for the theatre has turned into a night of trying to make as much money as possible.

I agree. Got to feel bad for those who win the un-televised awards they work just as hard if not harder and are relegated to 15 seconds of after thought. I understand why they can't broadcast all the awards, but the livestream was a nice touch. Put banner ads to the hilt on that sucker and that's fine.

I miss the days when the plays got to perform. Things started to go downhill after that. I'm glad they got Neil Patrick Harris back to host though.
