I had my audition around 3:45 PM EST yesterday. I thought it went pretty well. We went in and said a prepared monologue. I did the lunchtime monologue from 'Charlie Brown.' Anyway, when I proceeded to place the bag on my head for the monologue, I heard the director whisper the word 'brilliant' to the other 'director.' After that, he said 'Great job. Thank you.' Then, I went to see 300.

Guys, guess what? I got the part of 'Duke of Buckingham.' This is really cool, because it is my first SCHOOL show...can anybody give me a little description on how big that part is and describe how funny that character is and what the character's personality is like in great detail? Thanks!

Well, I was quite dissapointed at how small the role was. Since I am not in drama at my school, I had a feeling that it wasn't going to be a big role, but this is ridiculous! I HAVE ONLY ONE STINKING LINE! But that's not all. My scene begins on page 52 (out of 82 pages). My scene ends on page 52. That's all I do the WHOLE SHOW! One freaking page!

Eh. Don't worry about it. It is your first school play. I was chorus in my first big school play(the others were grade 9 exclusive - so it wasn't as hard) Just go and make the role the best that it can be. When they see how you work in the environment, you'll be good for future productions!

Haha, thanks. I am still kind of ticked off. I think, though, like I said, and you said, since he doesn't know how WELL I act, he doesn't exactly know how well I'll do, since I'm not in drama.

Yea my first play I had 3 lines and 2 of them were cut out when one of the actors skipped a section... worst part was I found out after that I was supposed to be one of the female leads but they messed up the names on the sheet and couldn't take the part away from the other girl.... and as for your show.. I bet you any money your line is going to get a ton of laughs. The play plays off of random characters; it confuses people because its so random and so people end up rolling on the floor laughing. So just have fun with it, it'll be worth it in the end.

lol my line is NOT funny at all...I am in the Richard III play...BOO! My line is: "Welcome, sweet prince, to London, to your chamber." Boo, that line sucks! I'll make it the BEST line in the show, though.

Guys, I never told you this, but the ZAP! show director said I was so talented as a sophomore. He told me to understudy Irv in the New York Comedy! I'm playing him next Wednesday night, too! I'm so excited!
