Well I DID have tickets for Les Mis Schools Edition last night but actually only had them for about 10 mins before it started The show was ok but they could've picked MUCH better leads....Cosette couldn't sing About two years before the revival, I used to go see the school edition anywhere students were doing it. I was that desperate. I've seen some pretty bad ones, but I think the production I was in (while being one of the first to perform the school edition) wasn't any great shakes either. I did see one good school production though. The Valjean was amazing which was a big surprise. I currently have tickets to Cry Baby for Friday. I've heard both good and bad things, so I don't really know what to expect. I'll just have to see for myself.

HELP!!!
I think David Essex is out of Aspects of Love before I go and see it. I think his replacement is James Greene. Oh no!! A nightmare!! A friend was going with us to see David Essex. Please confirm or preferably deny this.
Date: 13th June 2008 Time: 7:30 Venue: Liverpool Empire Theatre

I am going to see Evita in October. It looks like I am going to see musicals David Essex WAS in this year (he originated the role of Che in Evita and was George in Aspects of Love until a few days ago). I thought I would finally get to see a celebrity in a musical. I have never seen one.
Currently listening to Seeing is Believing (on repeat - Sarah Brightman and Michael Ball) and Love Changes Everything (Michael Ball).
I am addicted to the first one. Well, it is Sarah Brightman singing opera and Michael Ball singing. What do you expect? Sarah touches my heart. Her voice is my life really. Wonderful.
Not her new voice. The voice she had when she was married to Lloyd Webber.
(End of off topic)

Slightly O/T - to be honest, sometimes "celebrities" aren't any better than usual performers..Ex pop stars and such :S (ie Jennifer Ellison/Faye Tozer). Hm I wouldn't be too worried about missing them...

Going to see Elisabeth in Berlin in July! Possibly going two nights in a row too... slightly obsessed with it.
And I wish London weren't so far down south and expensive to get to, there's loads of stuff on down there I wan't to see but can't.
