The Cast of the new German Musical Robin Hood is Announced
Robin Hood shall be played by Jesper Tyden. The Sheriff will be played by Ethan Freeman
Robin Hood premiers on 8 december in the musical Theater of Bremen and after a periond from 8 months continues as a travel production

This would be very interesting to see! I hope it comes to North America (too bad those two actors most likely won't be with it )

Quite a few of Mel Brooks' movies have musical numbers in them.
In fact I'd say Robin Hood:Men in Tights would be a more logical (better) choice for his next stage musical then Young Frankenstien (I read about it on Playbill.com some time ago)

I think the general public would be more likely to attend Robin Hood than the Young Frankenstein.

Don't get me wrong I find Young Frankenstien pretty funny too ..... I just think Robin Hood: Men in Tights is the one of the two that is more 'stage ready'
But I also didn't think The Producers was going to work out on stage & it was one of my favourite shows LOL ;D

I'll have to wait till I at least hear the music to be able to judge whether I think a musical about Robin Hood works. But just Jesper and Ethan are more than enough to make me want to pay to see it! I don't know much about the rest of the cast, but this whole thing certainly looks very interesting!
