Ok, my thoughts about the book... I loved it, though it surely is not perfect. It is very different from PoA or GoF, as it is really only the prologue for the next one. I loved the second Chapter, where Snape had to do (or did willingly?) the unbreakable Vow. I believe he is probably the most complex character around.. I did not guess that he was the HBP, but well, at the end it didn't really matter, did it? Actually, the title was quite insignificant this time. And I was shocked that he was the murderer. I knew that Dumbeldore was going to die, as "the wizard with the white beard always dies" but I'd had thought it would happen while duelling with Voldemort, not when lying defenceless in Hogwarts!! I was really in shock for a couple of days, trying to figure out why did Snape kill Dumbeldore... I cannot convince myself that he's completely bad, but I cannot pretend that he's good... And JKR had told us to be suspicious... However, if he really were bad, and in the next book were to help Harry in destroying Voldemort, that would be heroic and redeeming... And at the end he would be a "good" character!! ;D As you see, I'm clinging to all hope...

I hated how dumbledore died ... like a 'sucker' as some of my friends would say.
I too would have liked to have seen him go out in a 'blaze of glory'

I was so angry with his Death---- I thought for sure he would have died in Book 7 saving Harry from Voldemort.. in battle!

yea.. in battle-- it's the way for Dumbledore.. not in a way that he's defense-less.. and.. weak..

Tbh, I think the movies ruin the books. I liked the first one, the second was OK, the 3rd was like OK so whats new? LOL I want to see if they'll put in Malfoy as a bouncing ferret though!

Compared to the books, the movies just suck. The first one I could watch, but especially the third just made me laugh. I don't like the child actors, Alan Rickman and Maggie Smith are the only reasons I wanted to see the PoA movie. So I don't wait for the 4th movie very much. But I do want to see Draco as ferret.
