Teräsbetoni's (= Steel concrete) song "Missä miehet ratsastaa" (= "Where men ride") is one of the most embarrassing Finnish songs in the history of the competition!!! Now, now, let's not be ridiculous. This is Finnish ESC entries we're talking about. If Teräsbetoni were embarrassing (I didn't mind them, personally), at least they weren't serious, unlike the neverending series of bad and embarrassingly earnest songs we had in the pre-Lordi times. I fear we'll now go back to those times, though, since in the past two years the rock songs haven't done so well.

The song is nothing mind-blowing. The melody is ok, but the lyrics (written by Diane Warren) are not.

Although the singer was great the song was disapointing. The lyrics...those were plain awfull. If I didn't knew he had nothing to do with it, I would swear they were Don Black's lol (plus the song seemed to me a week atempt to copy Wildhorn's "This is the moment" lyric-and-feeling-wise)

When I heard the song yesterday I immediately thought of "Sunset Boulevard". All this "I´ll make it" could be sung by Norma Desmond, too. Besides that the song´s very simple and boring.

I reckon if we'd sent her in with one of *my* songs we'd have done almost as well, if not better... so you know...

I also didn't really like the song. It surrely didn't stand out.
