Whoa, I didn't know there was a Little House on the Prairie Musical. Is it new?
I wonder if Priscilla will ever come to Broadway...hmm.

Whoa, I didn't know there was a Little House on the Prairie Musical. Is it new? I wonder if Priscilla will ever come to Broadway...hmm. Little House on the Prairie played somewhere out west, I believe somewhere in California to mixed reviews. It's also listed as playing at the Papermill Theater in New Jersey next season, so I waiting to see what happens. As for Priscilla, I'm not holding my breath for a NY transfer, so I'm planning to head up to visit Brae!

Holy lineup, Batman! This is about as good as a season can possibly get!
The Harder They Come is fscking AMAZING - I saw it four times here in London and it manages to capture the original film's grit while maintaining its own identity and methodology on stage. It's such a great show and I'm thrilled to see that it has a life after London.
Stuff Happens - I think this ran here as well but I didn't see it?
Joseph - Always a crowd pleaser, probably Troika dragging out their version again. Hopefully they'll cast someone other than Patrick Cassidy as Joseph, ditto that they find a good narrator.
Topol in Fiddler - I saw him doing this about 12 years ago, but the cash cow says moo so he's back on the road. To be fair, he is very good, though the show always puts me to sleep. I wouldn't say no if I had subscriber tickets or were handed comps though.
Little House - A new musical, well new-ish since it ran in Minneapolis. It's the first project from the producing team handling Rebecca in North America so it's worth supporting them for that reason, even if they did have that nightmare Zambello woman directing it. Reviews from MN were mixed, hopefully they've done some revisions.
Young Frankenstein - Great show for touring.
Priscilla - It's not setting my world on fire here, but it's expected to take the West End by storm. I went to the press launch and the costumes are INSANE. Big camp fun.
August Osage County - SEE THIS PLAY. No, really. Shut up, eat your fecking fish, and see the d**n play.
Cloud 9 - This one has me scratching my head because it's not the kind of thing I'd expect to see in a large touring venue and it's a fairly old play which is constantly being done in regional and community.
In short? Book while you can.

Buying Season Tickets is out of the question for me. I might be able to see one or 2 shows. I was thinking Young Frankenstein (I like the movie LOL) and August : Osage County

YF is good, but not brilliant. August is absolutely worth the ticket price.
I'd recommend THTC instead of YF, but it is not a traditional show - very minimalist staging and the score is authentic reggae, which may be off-putting.
