Hmm... interesting. I kind of like this idea.

I'm not sure how many people would disagree witht the casting so far, but I like it.

I'm glad this is a show they've picked up to make a movie out of. I am not quite sure how to explain why. I think this is one of those shows that's more likely to translate into a movie without many issues.

S'all right. I wasn't sure if you knew about the first one.
I think it's been long enough that a remake won't be ...........stupid. I mean, the first one was made 30/40 some odd years ago. Stupid would be remaking a film from 10 years ago.

I am seriously close to going off the deep end here. And I agree, it's nice that it's an older remake.

original movie was released in 1958, and a remake 50 years later works for me. but i don't like the casting.

Also, it's not a well-known film, like Footloose or Fame are. I think that it will be easier for me to like it than than those films, just because the original is not as iconic.

Well, Footloose isn't a normal remake. They're making a movie of the Broadway musical.
I'm not sure how I feel about remaking Fame, but the Rocky Horror remake is upsetting.

Well, Footloose isn't a normal remake. They're making a movie of the Broadway musical. I wasn't sure. One article I read made it sound like it was just the movie, another, the Musical. I'll take your word for it that it's the musical, it's easier to take then a full out remake!
