Well...lets all pray this goes the same way The Master and the Marguerita went... I don't like the original movie, but judging by ALW's latest works...I'm starting to feel pitty for the fans of the movie.
Thank Heavens he wasn't allowed to do Rebecca...!

I actually... really don't see a problem with this one. I have to agree with him that many people take the wrong approach to staging TWoO. I'm approaching this with optimism. And he's also right that TWoO doesn't have enough musical numbers to warrant a full blown stage show. So I say go for it. In my personal opinion alot of people are hopping onto the band wagon to quickly...

He's a bad songwriter though... I'd be happier if Schwartz did it. I wouldn't say he's a bad songwriter. His post- SUNSET shows haven't been very successful, but they've all included some great melodies. (A matter of opinion, of course) But about him writing a musical version about TWoO... I don't mind, but I'm not sure I like the idea of writing a new score while including some/most/all of the songs from the film.
