Have you ever change your mind...?

I don't know if you have heard anything about the new french musical "Mozart, l'opera rock"...

When I saw the video of the first clip of this show, I hated it !
I didn't pay enough attention to the song and proclamed this "Mozart"will be rubish and staged only to make money !

Some monthes later, I read a good critic on a website I used to agree with.
3 weeks ago, I bought the double CD of the complete recording of "Mozart, l'opera rock"! 20€, I could afford it !

Boy, that was THE idea !

The music doesn't show the lack of unity I thought !
The lyrics aren't that bad, like in the previous shows of this producer,"Le Roi Soleil" or "Les Dix Commandements" !
Even the singers are quite good though no Uwe Krüger nor James Barbour in the cast !

Listening to this recording let expect a decent show we haven't had in France for 10 years now !
So, I changed completely my opinion !

Has this kind of "re-evaluation" of a musical ever happened to you too ?
About which show ?
Why ?
Because of a friend ? A critic ? A post on this forum ? Anything else ?

I think its normal for someone's opinion of a show to change. There are tons of reasons why I think people reevaluate their opinion of a show. For one its difficult to get a good feel for a show based solely on a recording or a clip. Sometimes a great show gets ruined by a bad production (or vice versa). Other times I think its because we change as an individual. The reasons could be endless.

I used to adore the musical Rent. I still like it now, just no where near as close. I am quite different now at 27 than when I was the 15 year old who fell in love with the show.

I haven't been clear enough : I meant a quick turn of mind about a show.
I understand people can change with time but here I want to know if your evolution about a show has ever happened in a couple of weeks or less and why...
