Hello everyone.. I was just wondering if anyone has seen any shows in Toronto Theatres (Mirvish)... Well.. I haven't been to many shows.. but I recently saw WICKED... before I saw HAIRSPRAY.. and.. sadly.. that's it but soon enough.. I'm going to EVITA, LES MISERABLES, and hopefully LORD OF THE RINGS... I was going to audition for LOTR.. but.. i'm not 18 .. but.. I'm hoping to see it.. Oh.. and the best thing ever happened to me at the beginning of April 05... I was in a school board production of LES MISERABLES.. which is really cool.. it's the best expierence ever!.. we did it in the.. top 5 biggest theatre in CANADA! (Centre in the Square - Kitchener, ONT).. and it's also the best theatre for sound.. in all of canada.. which is awesome! ;D So here.. you can post anything about shows you have seen in Toronto.. I know Stacy has seen MANY!

Sadly, no. My friend and I heard that Phantom was going to play up there in the fall. Do you think the trip would be worth it? Or would another show be better?
I am terrified of the Lord of the Rings musical that's in the works.

Everyone's going to see LOTR The musical simply because it's Lord of the Rings. Everyone has been seeing this in the brewing ever since the movies.

I'm actually looking forward to the Lord of the Rings, for the most part....the only thing that concerns me is how many people are involved in the actual writing of it. I would feel better if it were just one composer.
And as for Phantom, I haven't heard anything about it coming back here.... Les Mis is back this fall, but no Phantom as far as I know!

I'd love to see the LotR, but how to get to Toronto... Well, that's a problem. I think that the show someday going to come here, since Värttinä (the other of the composers) is Finnish, but I don't want to see it translated, so...

Hey Stephen,
Are you going to see Evita? I don't know if I'll get to it, so if you go, let us know how it is!

I was really excited about We Will Rock You coming to Toronto. But I guess I'll have to wait a little longer. And I heard a rumour that they're going to make a Toronto version of Wicked to stay.

Ooppsie, I just rechecked.. I got my cities/shows mixed up. Phantom is going just south of here.. it was a Cirque de Soleil show that's in Toronto somewhere at the same time. Don't ask me how I mixed them up.

Phantom is not only returning to the Toronto area, it is also touring into Saskachewan (sorry if I misspelled it!) and Alberta, et cetera. You can see the tour schedule that does not yet mention Toronto at www.dcanderson.net who is the current Andre in the tour.
