Huh, if you've read worse than Twilight then don't tell me what, I don't want to ever touch those books, Twilight was bad enough. It seriously is the worst book I ever recall reading, and I haven't even been bold enough to go on to the sequels. Granted, through most of my life I've stayed away from both bad romance novels and bad vampire novels, so I don't know if everything in those genres is equally bad. On other thought...I probably didn't...I just have to share this... As I'm going through the pages of this book, the thing in going down like Titanic...I am already sick of Bella. I don't like feminist girls, but this one goes overboard with anti-feminism even for me. I just want to hit her with something. Edward is just a pervert. He's not romantic. He's a little freak who likes to stalk on people. Unfortunatly so far I haven't seen a single mention on "how to kill a Meyer-Vampire" so the bloody guy will probably really live ever after. Jacob is an idiot. I mean...he's a kid...a stupid kid. If I were a native American I would be rather offended by the way Mrs.Meyer describes the natives and their lives. When I read the scene where Bella meets Jacob in the beach I got the feeling I was reading a description of how the portuguese soldiers met the savages that lived in the woods of Amazonia or something...the difference: the soldiers met the savages in the 15th century...not the 21st... I've hear that Twilight fans started a campaign against Harry Potter? I mean...seriously? Do they even think they can COMPARE them? I understand Mrs.Meyer wants to be as rich as J.K.Rowling. I want to be as rich as her too...but if I was intending to do so by writting...perhaps having story writting lessons first would help...specially if you're born completly writting-talentless as Mrs.Meyer... And well...I'm only in page 100 and something....which means the book still has a lot to sink... ...suddenly Alice in Wonderland seems an amazing book! (and I trully hated that one when I read it...).

I decided I need to re-read Harry Potter 6 in order to get ready for the movie... ;D By the way, I found an used copy of Twilight in English for 3 euro, so I may be reading that soon as well. The power of mass media...

Agreeing completely, except on the part that Meyer is completely talentless, she just didn't spend much time plotting the book as she should, it feel like she just wrote the first thing that came to her mind. The idea of the story as a whole is really quite interesting, but the execution of the storytelling is bad.

Just finished Le Voyage d'Hecor by François Lelord and started re-reading Je vais bien ne t'en fais pas (Don't worry, I'm fine) by Olivier Adam. Seems that I'm kinda in a French phase at the moment.

The City of Dreaming Books by Walter Moers. It's amazing. I had to pretty much pry myself off it in order to stop reading and be able to go to grocery store for today's food, and I mustn't let myself touch it before I've done everything I have to do today, because I'm sure that when I start reading it again, no more will be heard of me before I've finished it.

I just finished a book called Learn Me Good, a fictional account of a first year teacher told in a series of e-mails. It was hysterical.

Currently reading "Unwind" by Neal Shusterman. Enjoying it a lot. A very interesting (and sometimes rather absurd) read.
