I felt like opening a silly topic... ;D I think we all know the sensation of a music in our head that we can't get rid of... Well, I do, and when I am at work and can't listen to musicals, I am at least playing them in my head.. And the problem is, I always "play" silly lines and keep repeating them over and over again.... ;D Well, so the question is: which song is obsessing you right now? Since lunchtime I am singing "the Document" from WIW, particularly Fosco's line going "Percival - you said you needed me" ;D

Mrs. Lovett's line "These are probably the worst pies in London" from Sweeney Todd. I don't remember anything else of that song, except something like "Ooh, Mr. Todd! Oh, Mr. Todd!" and it's driving me nuts...

"Parijs" from the 3 Musketiers. It rings over and over in my head.
What do you do to get rid of a song that you don't want to have stuck in your head? I often can't stop the music in my head, and any suggestions would be appreciated. ;D

I once did a report on songs that get stuck in your head (AKA Ear Worms) and the easiest way to get rid of one is to put another one that you don't remember too well istead. The best song for this is the theme song from Guilligans Island.

Stop!!!!! Just seeing mention of some of these songs is putting them in my head I often find myself quoting lines from Ken Hill's Phantom and I haven't seen or listened to it in ages!!! Strangely enough bits of Tanz quite often go round in my head! 'Die Schatten werden langer' is often playing too! Often the song(s) that stick in my head at work are those I've just listened to in the car on the way there . . . . which is quite often Tanz

Right now is "We can do it" from "The producers". The whole show is infectuous (sp??), and the part in this song where Leo and Max sing togeter is my favourite. I am even able to play the two separate lines in my head... ;D
