Lets dig up this thread! (Specially because I never noticed it ) Mine are: Male: Napoleon Adolf Hitler Benito Mussolini Julius Caeser António de Oliveira Salazar Henry VIII of England Joseph Stalin Nicolau Machiavel Richelieu (by now you must have noticed I have a huge fascination for dictators or absolute rulers...I find them fascinating characters to study... I don't love them as persons...it would be awkward to love Stalin and Hitler at the same time ) Female: Queen Elisabeth I of England Eva Braun (the way she loved Hitler is something beyond normal...I'm still trying to understand how can a woman love a man that much) Boudica Inês de Castro Margaret Tatcher (Its pretty strange but I found very difficuld to chose the women since normaly they are just Queens or Princesses and had no political revelance. Those I mentioned are the exception)

I'd Like to add Walt Disney to my list. The man was a visionary.

My list is outdated and I should change some historical people I love. Never liked him and how a tasteless personality he's got both Historically and in the Shakespearean play. If you love rulers such as the ones you've listed, I am surprised Richard III, Claudius I and Nero is not on your list, !

As for Nero...the guy disgusts me...I like rules, not lunatics who set their own cities on fire wile playing music ;D

Maria Bjornson: fantastic sets and costumes in Phantom have given me goosepimples for years and actually without her work on things like The Tempest many set designs today but not be as excellent as they are. When you see Phantom it looks dated but not 21 years old. Anne Frank: for writing a diary through those difficult times so that people can read it and understand never to be that cruel ever again - rather like the rainbow at the end of the Noah story. it serves as a constant reminder of atrocity. William Shakespeare - not as a creator but as a wonderful poet whose verse is unmatched and becauyse without him I would not be doing Renaissance Tragedy at the moment. Walt Disney as well: true genius and all his films are magical.

As of this very moment my favourite historical person is Mary Whitehouse. She campaigned to get filth off our televisions and is a wonderful woman with outstanding views. Her and her husband were the best people ever. Campaigning for purity in terms of what children see. Voice of the people. Keeping children pure. Getting the watershed. Phenominal woman. Love Julie Walters portrayel of her.

Female: Sisi... she's as rebellious at first as I am now. Male: Prince William. He's such a levelheaded young man, I love it.
