Yeah I was shocked too! so I made a chance to see it again before the big end and I loved it still.... they say it'll be back so some people say it's okay to see it with a little change but I'm not okay lol I don't want it to change the book! if I were him I would make Line 2 or Line 3 for a new version instead changing Line 1... It will be a mistake I think -_-; ^^;

For Dreamgirls....umm..Korean musical fans reaction is like ... All of musicals.. why this show??? to put in a nutshell... Dreamgirls is not famous in Korea, musical itself so....I am kinda worried that it'll make good money here Dreamgirls may not be famous in Korea, but the first act (the beginning through "Love Love Ya Baby" if all you've seen is the film) is some of the most jaw dropping musical theatre ever made. The film is excellent and takes the right kind of liberties, especially in doing pretty good job of fixing up a problematic second half, but it doesn't live up to the stage version's intensity and magic. Sadly there's never been a professional production of the show in the West End. Dreamgirls has the most fantastic amazing scene among the shows I saw. Stepping to the bad side scene. after the scene everyone looked mesmerized with jaw dropping lol If you miss this new Dreamgirls you are a fool ^^

We have Das Musical<Mozart!> in Jan. 2010 I've read the news in this month issue of THE MUSICAL. That's awesome. Before Marie Antoinette, Mozart was the spurned child of the Kunze/Levay catalogue, though it has some excellent songs and they seem happy with setting the show where it is now.

I am not sure whether I'll be able to go to Seoul at this time around and see Mozart! We're having POTO Korean cast again and I'm dying to see it so when I go to see POTO I might see that though. and There's other choices - Legally Blond and Wedding Singer so I have to make a choice

Yay! I love this show so much, and I'm glad it's going to new places. You should see it if you get a chance! I'd love to know a bit more about what it'll be like in Korea.

Wow! Although from the clip it's hard to see if Wolfgang is a good actor, he certainly can sing very well. What is the staging of this version like? I guess what I'm really asking is whether or not they are using the sets/costumes from the original production.

I agree on Can - sing part That guy made a debut through the Korean cast of NDdP and He'll have to work on acting part I guess lol I heard that costume is imported but sets is....I am not sure.... it seems difficult to use the sets from past production cuz Sejong theater is very big.....

No sets! Well I guess I should have known. They're still using OVC cast pictures in the website and it would be extremely costly to use them for only two months. I guess I was just hoping that somebody would present it again with the original level of grandeur that it deserves. Tacklenburg and Budapest just don't cut it (although the latter's book is much improved over the original). Oh well, at least I won't feel so bad not getting to see it then.

If you prefer more "modern" shows like Spring Awakening for example, then this show won't please you 'cause it's full classic. There are also clips available on YouTube (surprise!), you can check them here www.youtube.com/watch?v=6zNP7HiQON4 (then just see the others marked as (1) (2) etc)
