No sets! Well I guess I should have known. They're still using OVC cast pictures in the website and it would be extremely costly to use them for only two months. I guess I was just hoping that somebody would present it again with the original level of grandeur that it deserves. Tacklenburg and Budapest just don't cut it (although the latter's book is much improved over the original). Oh well, at least I won't feel so bad not getting to see it then. eeek I got it wrong! The costume and wigs are made by a Korean designer due to the High cost of original. I'll link some pics soon for you Albert

I saw it (not..."live"...you catch my drift ). It's probably not for everyones taste. If you prefer more "modern" shows like Spring Awakening for example, then this show won't please you 'cause it's full classic. There are also clips available on YouTube (surprise!), you can check them here www.youtube.com/watch?v=6zNP7HiQON4 (then just see the others marked as (1) (2) etc) Yeah I did catch your drift and Thanks for the link! I do also like classical style and even classical music a lot

Ooh, I love the costumes! Somehow I especially like Constanze's look. Gorgeous! Thanks so much for posting the pictures!

Jo, thank you so much for the pics. They do look amazing as do the contents of the official website you posted earlier. A red-haired Constanze. I'm charmed... must have taken inspiration from everyone's favorite Transylvanian wench. Anyway, I did a little bit of research on my own and found these photos of one of the Wolfgangs. Apparently, he's a very famous pop artist there in Korea and his performances are sold out thanks to his fans. He looks great in the pictures. supershinee.blogspot.com/2009/12/pictures-first-look-pictures-of.html

And if they aply the same quality in costumes and sets they're using in Mozart! it will be amazing! (By the way, "the others" are Baroness Waldstätten and Frau Weber, Constanze's mother )

Awesome! Yay for Elisabeth! Keep us posted. :-)
As for "Ich bin, ich bin Musik" it wasn't written in its current form then. I think there was something with partly the same idea in the show at that point, but it wasn't a complete song. I agree it's a pity it's not there, it's one of my favourite songs, too.
