Russian Production of Romeo et Juliette on DVD

According to those who saw the last performance of the Russian production (which was on June 12th), the producers informed the audience that this last performance would be released on DVD in July.

Let's cross our fingers and hope that this actually happens! I would love to have a new production of R+J on DVD! And since the Russian production is a bit different from the original French production, I am more eager to see it!

And there probably won't be one. Last I heard the producers decided to cancel the release.

well that is a pitty...although I was thinking...there is the possibility of the DVD would be only available at the theater...? (for example, the portuguese version of My Fair Lady, is only available on DVD at the theater...no other store sells it.)
