More news from our stars. Andrew Lloyd Webber is on Jonathan Ross tonight (Friday). Alun Armstrong played Earnest Whitehouse is the amazing and sensational television vision of the true story of Mary Whitehouse. Starring Julie Walters. Best programme I have ever seen in my whole life. Will watch it again for the values it presents and the humour you get from loving Mary and hating the BBC. ;-)

Lee Mead, Denise Van Outen, Mary Wilson and Michael Ball are all featuring in the programme Hairspray The School Musical on Sunday at 9pm. It's a series so you may have to wait some weeks to see some of them. For those who want to see Mike in Hairspray this is a wonderful chance. I saw him and he was excellent. On Sky 1.

But I absolutely hate Mary Whitehouse for a number of reasons. She ruined British Theatre and Media. She was virtually offended by everything.

I saw the programme Hairspray: The School Musical.
Woow!!!
The kids are great and there is definately an Edna, Amber, Motormouth and Inez among them. It is great. And it opened with the school assembly welcoming the cast of Hairspray who performed You Can't Stop The Beat. Not Michael but most of the younger ones were there. Including Leanne and Ben.
It is amazing.
And they are showing the whole musical at the end of next month on TV. Hairspray is on TV. The whole thing. Will be recorded and watched over and over again. All those great songs performed by kids with the show sets and costumes. Fabulous. I LOVE THIS SHOW. Can't wait to see Michael help them now.
On every week.

Hah I watched this and was like...I've met them! I have my photo with them! All excited lmao. I'm not sure if Michael is actually helping them though, I know Lee Mead is doing a masterclass & probably Ben James Ellis...I wonder how much it will change for the schools version?? And that boy (can't remember his name!) would be a fantastic Edna!
