OOhhh nice idea. I've had a pomeranian dog: His name was "smokey". He lived to 10 and died from diabetes. I've had a cross between a Yorkshire terrior and Maltese dog: Thats an actual picture of him. He's 5 years old now I think. His name is Ben. I have a a Cat named "Max". He's 11 years old this year and he's half person and ginger. Lovely little thing. No pics of him but. Was also thinking about getting a Bichon Frise: EDIT: I actually didn't realize thats a picture of my cat's legs in the background of Ben's picture lol

I haven't got any pets now, sadly. I adore animals and really want to get a dog or a cat, but my life situation doesn't allow it. (Poor student, live alone, move around a lot and don't know what my near future will be like... Not the best situation to bring a pet into. Maybe later.) But my family used to have a Shetland Sheepdog, who was really adorable. He had so much personality and was the sweetest creature ever. I don't think I have any pictures of him on this computer, though. And in my early teens I had a guinea pig. She was cute, but I think I'm more of a dog or cat person than a rodent person. A guinea pig doesn't really do very much. Even when I let her out of the cage to run around the room, she would just find a nice hole to sit in and stay there. She was still sweet, though. And when I was a kid, we had some birds. Edited to add: death, Smokey looked adorable! Even if I'm more of a big dogs person (or at least medium-sized dogs...) he looks very very cute.

Our neighbour used to have a Pomeranian that looked exactly like Smokey. Sweet little creatures. I'm more or less afraid of big dogs, they look impressive and more dog-like than most little dogs but I'm happier when they stay away from me. My Austrian host family's Dalmatian was cute, though. My family has a 3-year-old Dachshund. I've never been that keen on having pets, and animals in general don't automatically make me go "AWW!", but she's adorable. A stubborn idiot sometimes, but still adorable. Quite an old photo, but I haven't got anything newer now. When I was a kid my mother had an old tortoise, but then it died. We also had a bunny for one summer because someone had abandoned it, but it ran away.

Here are my 4 Firstly, my cat Jet. She's 14 and has been a part of my life since I was 4...she can be a grump but I love her to bits! My dog Tia She's a Border/Patterdale cross terrier and very fun! She's about 5 now...my feet are also in the picture lol! This is Darcy, my hamster. Named after "Mr Darcy" from Bridget Jones...we rehomed him & a female (she died a few months ago) and decided the names Bridget & Darcy fitted them He's around 2 now. And finally my 3 1/2 year old gerbil, Velma. Her cagemate Roxie died just last week so she's a bit lonely now...she has loads of extra toys to keep her busy! EDIT - I'm sorry these pics are so big but photobucket wouldn't let me resize them for some reason!

Your pets are so cute and gorgeous, everyone! I'm here going "aww" at the pictures a lot. I especially love Brae's Collies because I love Collies in general. Partly because they're so beautiful and partly because they remind me of our Bili, the Shetland Sheepdog, as Shetland Sheepdogs look a lot like Collies (they're just smaller). If I get a dog again, I think I'll want a Collie, unless I get another Shetland Sheepdog. The picture of "Gershwin" is also great, with how he jumps.

All I've got right now is my fat, lazy cat Peaches. And to be honest, all I know about her is that my family's had her about 10 years. I think maybe she's a calico, if that's even a kind of cat. That just comes to mind for some reason.
I'd upload an image, but... a) I don't have a digital picture of her, and... b) I don't know how to upload pictures
My family has also gone through another cat (Peaches's son), a hamster, and many, MANY fish.

I don't have any pets any more. I used to have a couple of goldfish and a little gladiator dish but they died. So now I have adopted a stray cat, that decided to move in my (summerhouse) garden: and her kittens ;D
