Tanz der Vampire will return to Stuttgart in 2010. So have chosen the people in a poll made by Stage Entertainment. The idea was chosing the show that would replace Wicked. The results were:
7949 votes for TANZ DER VAMPIRE 4507 votes for MISS SAIGON 2702 votes for BEAUTY AND THE BEAST
One of the other show's that was available for voting was ELISABETH but that one didn't even reached the final votings.

I think the exact same result was to be expected. I hope they will make a great Tanz!

Is it me or is it rather pointless to put Tanz in there with Oberhausen running until January *AND* a Vienna revival going up as well?

The Stuttgart production opens March 10th, and Oberhausen closes in Januaray so it's not at all pointless Beside's Oberhausen is miles away from Vienna, so if it was pointless so it would be having shows on B'way and the same show in any other part of the USA or show's on the West End and Ireland at the same time...

Yeah, while I sometimes think they should maybe stop playing the musical "to death" in Germany, on the other hand I can understand this as it was super-popular in Stuttgart and it's been almost ten years since that production. It's been in other places in Germany, yeah, but not so close by. And from what I know, most Germans will not travel as far as Vienna to see the show.
I wonder if Kevin Tarte will be playing Krolock again... Since he was also Krolock in Stuttgart originally.

I don't want to scare you, but Graf Taaffe has already auditioned to play Graf von Krolock.

I believe he has done it also before, he stated somewhere ages ago that Krolock is one of his dream roles and every time there has been a new production of Tanz, his fans have been wanting him to be Krolock. When we went to see the anniversary concert in Vienna, people had written things like "Uwe 4 Krolock!!!" on the Rebecca posters outside Raimund Theater. I think I can trust Polanski's ears that he won't let Uwe on stage, though. I hope so.

I don't want to scare you, but Graf Taaffe has already auditioned to play Graf von Krolock. Luckly no one ever reminded to put him ad Goat Von Krolock ;D Though honestly...I really fear that may happen with the Vienna Revival...since Rudolf may not resist the summerpause... *prays*Uwe*gets*kiddnaped*by*aliens*

If Rudolf shutters at Summer then they'd better be putting Drew Sarich in as Krolock.

Uwe Kroger has auditioned for Tanz? Yes. If he does get the role. I'll be over the nearest cliff in a heartbeat. I have a better idea: let's take him for a walk to the nearest cliff, if he gets the rôle. *prays*Uwe*gets*kiddnaped*by*aliens* The aliens have intentionally left him back on Earth during a mission. Why would they want to have him back?
