The musical "Elisabeth" of Michael Kunze and Sylvester Levay will be turned into a movie. "We are happy to bring the most successful german musical in the spring 2011 - shortly before its 20. Birthday - to the screen " announced the Production Company Constantin in a press release in Munich. No Cast for the film was announced yet.

Actually, if they would have really thought about turning Elisabeth into a film, I'm sure they would have wanted Uwe Kröger to be Death. Thus it's probably a good thing that the story isn't true So there's still a chance that if they will ever make a movie, Uwe will be waaaay too old (meaning even older than he is right now )
