Here's a clip from the UK's talent show where they had an amazing performance and the performer has become an overnight sensation on both sides of the Atlantic! And deservingly so!!! OMG, what a voice!! www.youtube.com/watch?v=RxPZh4AnWykHonestly, the clip is worth watching!! When she hit the part "as they turn your dream to shame", I was in tears!! And watch the audience's reaction, going from derisive laughter to astonished standing ovation and cheering! Amazing voice, such effortless singing. I hope we hear a lot more of this lady!

She's brilliant! I hope she's one of the finalists on that show!
It's a shame we can't have more people like this on America's Got Talent. There's always annoying pop or rap singers on that show.

she's good but this is Paul Potts all over again... Precisely. But that's what showbiz needs to fabricate each year, to fool gullible audiences into believing that each Cinderella can escape her / his miserable life someday. Anyway, since we're talking sensations, here's a clip from an Italian TV show called Ti Lascio Una Canzone (Leaving You A Song), which shows two young talents singing The Prayer live and accompanied by an orchestra - www.youtube.com/watch?v=VR7DW2pORZEThe 16-year-old girl is Charice Pempengco, a world-known artist already. The 14-year-old boy's name is Gianluca Ginoble.

True, but it makes a good story. It fills people with hope that they, too, can do something with their great lives.
It'd be kind of lame to see a a person on the show go, "Ya, I've taken singing lessons for years and years and I'm even getting a scholarship to go to a performing arts school, but I wouldn't need it 'cause I'm so rich anyways. I thought I'd just try to win this talent show for more money because I'm so amazing!"

I can't belive that Susan Boyle didn't win!!! I mean how much more talented does one need to be??? I think the British have "The Sarah Brightman syndrome": you can't be famous in Britain if your famous all over the world! I bet even if Mozart went on these talent competitions he would finish on 10th place or lower.

I really thought Susan was over hyped. Nor could she cope with the pressure. She was admitted to a psychiatric unit today cause she went off the rails. Make up your own minds: The winner of BGT: Diversity: www.youtube.com/watch?v=KJIz8BgRQc0(switch HQ off for it to load faster) Susan who came in 2nd place: www.youtube.com/watch?v=7fS4v5_T5PA(Sorry can't embed them...) These are both their final performances.

This was the act that won? ? Laughable Fair enough. I know its not to everyones tastes. But the matter is Susan wouldn't have made it to the Royal Variety. It's week one and she's already had a mental breakdown. She's meant to be going on tour in the next few weeks. It'll never happen. In general I like Susan. But her behavior recently has been cause for concern. These past few shows have made me go "wtf"?

Although I don't like at all those kind of dances I think they were the fair winner. And for one reason: the time Susan didn't sung "I dreamed a dream" she sucked. Have you heard her sing "Memory"? She had a mental breakdown? Can you give some more info into that? I always suspected that she wasn't exactly mentaly sane, but I thought it was just exuberance....

Admitted to the Priory Rehab (Think it was the priory...) Clinic in London early this morning. Was escorted by Police in an Ambulance. Apparently she's been having erratic behavior all week. But she really flew off the handle on Saturday when she lost. Storming up and down the studio hallways, shouting abuse to people and she threw water over her PA.
