Hi people! I'm puting here for all of you to know the following message that was brought to me by Peter Williams, the webmaster of Frank Wildhorn's official site and Forum. Hi folks, This is a call for a bit of help. The team behind the Rudolf DVD is wondering how much of a demand there really is for English subtitles on the DVD. They're obviously still thinking about it, but it isn't definite. So what I need, is to hear from those of you who want the subtitles. Here's how:
Please send mail to peter@williamswebdesign.com (so I can collect all of this in one place).
Put "Rudolf DVD" in the subject line.
And tell me: how many copies you might buy if it _doesn't_ have English subtitles (German only), and also how many copies you might buy if it _does_ have English subtitles.
I'll collect the responses and pass the information along. This is your chance to be heard...
Best, PeterObviously normaly no one buys more than one copy of a DVD, so I suggest you make clear on the email that with english subtitles you buy it but without them you don't think it may be justified the price since you don't understand german (*whispers*even if you do XD) So now it's up to you to make this happen

I sent an email encouraging subtitles but also saying that they won't guarantee a sale for me.

Although I'm buying it with or withou subtitles, I also added that they should remind all those fans of Wildhorn around the world who don't speak german, specially in the USA where the base is big. I think they just want to know if there is demand for it or no, regardless of if you promise if you'll buy it or not Specially since the DVD is on the top of SoM sales since it was announced, I think they just want to know if it's worth their time to put or don't the subtitles.

See, for me there's a couple reasons not to buy, namely I don't really care for what I've heard of the score and the DVD of Elisabeth had some serious tech issues (non-anamorphic widescreen, some notable glitching in the blues). I bought it because I love the show, but for something that I'd only be buying to have as a Drewbie, having subs would be a nudge.
