Hello, Everyone!
I am relatively new to the board. I need some help... I am living in London for my studies from September-December, 2011. It's hard for me to find good sources on the news for my favorite performers in Europe...
Are there any concerts featuring Pia Douwes that will be staged before Rebecca?
Is Tanz der Vampire in Stuttgart/Berlin worth seeing?
Is there any production of Tanz besides the two above playing in Europe during the Autumn?
Thank you so much! I didn't know where else to write this... I'll probably be asking for travel advice soon, too!

Hello! The next concert with Pia Douwes is „Sommernacht des Musicals 2011“ in the Burgtheater Dinslaken. But I can´t tell you what she will sing there as nobody tells the song list before. I think Tanz der Vampire is worth seeing though the set became smaller by the years. The version in Vienna has got the better set, costumes and videos (the Hungarian ones) but a in my opinion strange new ending. And yes, the Hungarian vampires will be on stage in september, but just for a few shows. www.vampirokbalja.com/english/index1.phpHope that´ll help you.

Thank you very much! I won't be able to make it to the Hungarian vampires, unfortunately... But your information is great! I'll have to keep my eyes peeled for Pia in other performances...

Contributing for other productions: the Finnish (Seinäjoki) and Russian (St. Petersburg) productions of Tanz der Vampire will premiere in September. Here you can find some English-language information on the Finnish production: www.facebook.com/tdv.finland From what I've heard from people who know more, it's going to be awesome. If you decide to try it, feel free to ask for some travel advice. I can't help you with the other questions so much; I think Tanz der Vampire is always worth seeing, though the Stuttgart production isn't the first one I'd spend money on (since the tickets are so expensive and a lot of the cast seem kind of flat to me, though I'm probably just picky), but I'm waiting to find out who they'll cast in Berlin since there's supposed to be quite a few changes. The Vienna production has just closed.
