Hi, I´m back from my musical-holidays! Actually I´m still tired because I caught myself a big cold in Berlin (shouldn´t wait in the middle of the night at the stage door ). But I want to tell you about my experiences in St. Gallen with Dracula. Well.... ;D We had the first cast cast, will say also with Thomas Borchert as Dracula. He was a great Dracula and got many songs! The other actors were also fantastic but that was almost it!! I didn´t like it as much as all the other fans because it´s a complete different age (they are all clothed as if they were in 1950 or something like that); the atmosphere isn´t a bit spooky or mysterious at all ; the story itself is very weird and the end..... How I mentioned the music/ songs were good although I´m afraid I couldn´t sing now just one song. And after the show we went to the stage door and had the chance to talk to Ann Christin Eleverum (Mina) and Martin Pasching (Albert) and both didn´t ask if we like the show! I guess that says a lot. It would be interesting to read of anybody else who saw it in St. Gallen....

I've seen pics of those costumes and they really made me wonder the point of them, since I would imagine it's a bit weird time to set a vampire story. And so it obviously was. But I'm glad the music was good. Have you seen the other Dracula, which they performed in Tecklenburg with Ethan Freeman as Dracula? Was this better or was the music of this Dracula better than that? I'm jealous you saw Borchert, I still hope he would make an exception to his schedules and play Krolock on the Saturday afternoon when I'm going to see Tanz.
