I was wondering if anyone here had heard it? The pictures look great and the music clips I've heard not bad, but being only instrumental...
I'm currently reading the book and have become very interested in all things Dorian...hehe

Well, I heard that there was a "Dorian Gray" musical in Italy, but I have never heard/seen anything about it... So, I can't say if it's the same you have seen, or just another musical on the same theme... (though I would tend toward the second answer...) Here's the link to the Italian production: www.ilritrattodidoriangray.it/sito.htm(sorry, everything's in Italian )

Yeah, that's the site I found. I've been trying to find more but there's nothing.
*sighs* How do I always manage to like things there's nothing to find out about?

Yep... He looks good.. ;D He is also called the "prince" of Italian musical theatre, but I've never heard him sing, so no idea if this title is "legitimate"... However, when Rent was produced in Italy, Pavarotti in person chose him for the main character, so he must be able to do something

And from the Italian people in my mailing list I heard it's actually quite bad & boring. But some of them are a bit of a snob, not liking Italian musicals just because they are Italian, so I wouldn't know if that's right.

Yes, indeed ! Your friends are a bit of a snob : there are several italian musicals I know that are very good ! f.e : "Caruso" by Gianluca Terranova, feat.Katia Ricciarelli "Pinocchio" by Pooh; "Tosca, amore disperato" by Lucio Dalla ! and the lighter "Scugnizzi" a napolitan one, a kind of mix between "Rent" and "Fame"... Btw, I liked the clip of "...Dorian Gray" : obviously, it's not a Broadway-like musical but rather a "Light in the Piazza" style !

I don't know about the rest, but I really like "Tosca Amore Disperato" But then again I always liked Lucio Dalla's songs so...
