I was just wondering,
If you could create your'e own cast for (a) musical(s).
Wich musical(s) would it be and who do you want to play the leadroles?

My ideal cast for Les Mis:
Valjean: Phil Cavill Javert: Philip Quast Fantine: Carmen Cusack Eponine: Vera Bolton Cosette: Annalene Beechey Marius: Matt Cammelle Enjolras: Glyn Kerslake Grantaire: Martin Fisher
or if they had Tanz over here:
Krolock: Michael McCarthy Alfred: Fredrik Wickerts Herbert: Robert D Marx Chagal: Chris Langham Magda: Ria Jones Um, still thinking about the Prof and Sarah!

My own cast for Les Mis would be the Original London Cast with just a few changes. Fantine: Carmen Cusack Eponine: I can't decide whether I like Frances Ruffelle or Alex Sharpe more, so one of them. And I would also get rid of the woman who absolutely screeches in "Turning" That's all I would really change, basically I think the London Cast is the nearest you could get to perfection.

I don't know what musical it would be but... i think that it would be interesting to see a show with Idina Menzel, Lea Salonga, Sutton Foster, Norbert Leo Butts, Andy Meeks and Adam Jacobs in one cast. They all have completely different styles of singing and i think it would be interesting to see how they compliment each other. Some of them are similar but thats besides the point.. you could actually pair them off and create a pretty interesting show.

as epo9 being my "BFF" (as the sleepers say.. i mean.. cool kids say)... i agree with: Idina Menzel Andy Meeks Lea Salonga Sutton Foster Adam Jacobs Norbert Leo Butz
BUT.. i would add
Kristin Chenoweth (you need a crazy soprano) and Philip Quaste (you need a crazy bass)
and that would be a super auper cool cast for a show ;D

but there's no one to match them up with really.. cuz you can match Andy Meeks and Idina Menzel, Sutton Foster and Norbert Leo Butts, and Lea Salonga and Adam Jacobs...

Meeks would go with Quaste... it'd have perfect oppertunity for awesome bass/bari(p.q) & bari/tenor(a.m) harmonies!.. it would work.. and or corse idina and kristin.. but i know that you were matchin them with musicals they've been in.. but.. i think my way would a bit.. cause you need a soprano.. and.. bass is just a super cool part to sing.. if you can sing it

If 3 Musketiere was translated into English and in the West End then I could cast all my favourite male performers as the musketeers<G> Might have to rotate them round the singing parts though. Oooh, favourite men in leather and boots!!!
. . . . goes for cold shower;-)

I agree... But I have heard that's what she was told to do... Looking bewitched and out of herself...
Wah, that bugs me... I love Point of no return, in my opinion it must be a seductive song...

Ehi... Actually I was agreeing with you!! I don't like Emmy's (and Gerald Butler's) version of Point of no return!!
