I should have added those a while ago.. They've been there for a bit. But Brae, don't you notice how Galadriel got.... like... sexier costuem wise since Toronto... it got like more... "look at my boobs"? No? or is that just me? It's not just you, and also that big giant "tig" hat/hairpeice thing is gone

They ebtter change all of the Lothlorien elf costumes - becuase in the T.o cast, Galadriel had presence with that giant head piece - now all she has is a shiney corsette - So, they better be less glamaours than the new Galadriel. I'm still excited to see more videos etc etc

Is it possible to get tickets for the same day's performance or are they always sold out? I'm going to London in June but I'm not sure if I have time to see LotR (our flight may be late, etc.) so I don't want to buy a ticket beforehand.

You'll most likely be able to buy tickets - but it'll be either: bad seats for a group/pair of you and another, or spread out seats for things that are left open anywhere and everywhere in the theatre.

Thanks for the information! This musical isn't a 'must' for me but I just thought it would be nice to see while I'm in London, so it doesn't matter if I don't get the best seat. I'm also alone so any spread out seat will do.

Lord of the Rings musical postpones shows after onstage injuryAll I can say is ouch! But yet, part of me isn't surprised. Those who saw it in Toronto know, if your timing is off by just half a second or so in some of the climatic battle scenes when that stage is fully alive and moving about bad things could, and appearently have now happened.

I'm very curious about this show! Didn't like the book or the films at all - but this show has some music made by the Finnish band Värttinä. And I'd like to see how well they've managed to squeeze that gigantic book into approx. 3hrs!
In the 90s they made a play of LOTR for a summer theatre in Helsinki, it was played in a fortress island in front of Helsinki. The play was over 5 hours long...
