Christa Wettstein as Sophie? Interesting.
Maike Switzer will be playing Esterházy and covering Elisabeth.

Thanks for the news! On a less exciting note, I've heard that the full performances will be done only in Osaka and that in Tokyo it will be more like a concert.

According to the VBW website, the full cast finally arrived in Japan yesterday. Eight days until they open in Osaka! I wish them luck! ;D

Love those pictures, Maya looks so elegant, even when eating Sushi ;D!
And if case someone is curious what Maya is doing with that large doll, it's called a Daruma and if you color one of the eyes, you get good luck.

I'm glad it's being received so well in Japan! And hee, yes, nice pictures! Maya does look very elegant, and Lukas and Marjan are distractingly cute. Shallow note: I'm glad that Lukas has now kept the look that he had when I saw him in Vienna in February. That hair and being clean-shaven again becomes him much better than the look he had towards the end of last year! So much eye candy.

Maya Hakvoort, Máté Kamarás, Lukas Perman and Sylvester Levay are talking about Elisabeth: www.youtube.com/watch?v=WEdeoeymro4It's funny... German is just Lukas' mother tongue, but all of them are talking in German ;D btw, Mate's German is interesting

Thanks for the link! Maya looks exhausted, poor woman. Máté's German is cute. And I adore Sylvester Levay, he's so... *aww*
