An here it is!! www.tohostage.com/rebecca/index.htmlAnd OMG... Yamaguchi looks pretty darn hot in this poster!!!!! I'm ok with Chihiro Otsuka playing Ich, but honestly, I don't know what to think about Sylvia Grab doing the part of Mrs. Danvers. I saw her quite recently when she did Fantine in Les Mis, and while she has a lovely voice when she sings softly, she is nothing like Susan Rigvava-Dumas. But I still can't wait to see it. ;D

YES! Yuichiro as Maxim! Though I would prefer they had piked Haruno as Danvers, 'cause this one is not at all what I imagined a Japanese Danvers like By the way Marielle...in all those characters they wrote in the page...did it say anything about the Japanese CD of Rebecca?

I knew Yuichiro is going to play Maxim! Also, I wanted Kouju Tatsuki as Danvers or Shizuki Asato . Reason for those 2 is because of Tatsuki was realy good in "Mozart!"(I need the Highlights Japanese CD to hear more of her), and Shizuki can belt the money note in the title song like no other.

I was worried about him playing Maxim and Tod in a row, but aparently Rebecca will only stay 3 months on stage. I still think the best choice to Mrs. Danvers would be Haruno Sumine though I don't dislike the idea of Shizuki Asato.

I agree with both of you about the casting of Mrs. Danvers. I don't know why they decided on Sylvia... but then I'm not going to decide what I think of her role until I hear it for myself. Ah no, Toho usually doesn't say anything about a CD release until after the show's been playing for a while and they see how well it does. I'm hoping for a complete 2CD recording.

Me too, specially because of the price. And judging by Elisabeth, Mozart! and Marie Antoinette its most probable the CD to be a complete recording (and actually, the only Live recordings I like are the japanese...you barely ear the aplauses ;D )

Could someone please write the names of the cast members here? This cast list is not very much of use if you don't speak any Japanese.

Does anyone here understand Japanese? I'd really like to know if there's any interesting information on the site. Is it known if they did any changes in the show or the orchestration? Oh, I'm soo curious about the show.

In case anyone missed it, the Toho website has up some videos - it looks like some interviews and then curtain call (must be from opening night.) www.tohostage.com/rebecca/interview.htmlUnfortunately, the curtain call video is almost 50MB in size, so the streaming can be pretty choppy.

Yeah, and there's something that sounds different to me in the aplause tune for Mrs.Van Hopper...it doesn't sound like American woman like in the Wien one...so either she has a new song, new orchestrations or they decided to listen to me and cut American Woman Can't wait for the CD
