On that character list I saw in the musical magazine it was definitely Valentine de Villefort who was the other female character besides Mercedes (named as Albert's fiancée, so I guess Albert and Maximilien have been combined). I really have no idea what he can have been thinking. Here I was actually hoping that Mercedes would end up having more personality than Wildhorn's heroines usually if she was played by Pia on that recording.
I find it amusing that Wildhorn (or whoever updates his website) doesn't even remember the names of his characters right, because I'm sure that Valentine was properly called Valentine on that character list I saw earlier. Either way, Pia in that role is just an absurd idea. She won't sound Albert's age no matter what she does.

The websites (Frank, Nan's etc) are all controled by Peter Williams. (Juggler in Wildhorn boards). He has no connection with the shows, he just keeps the site updated. So I assume he doesn't even has to be very into the subjects. I for example read Count quite some years ago and I remember almost nothing of it...Imagine now if he didn't read the book ;D

Knowing the book or not, getting the character names right would be nice. I'm sure Wildhorn has to have given him a list or something (and if he hasn't, it's his fault). It can't be that difficult to write the name right, and it doesn't have anything to do with the book because musical characters have names, too.

Many times are Franks assistants who give them. Its just necessary that one of them types it wrong. And about writing the names right? LOL I totaly don't blame him. It will come the day were myself get names right (specially hungarian ones as you know )

Someone should be smart enough to proof-read the info! Things happen, so it's understandable, but errors reflect on him and his team! Has anyone emailed the webmaster about correcting it?

Looks like the "Valerie" mistake has been fixed on the website. But since it indeed still says that Pia will play Valentine, I guess I need to stop hoping that was an error. Darn, I was hoping that she might have made Mercedes into a more interesting character than most of Wildhorn's heroines are, but I can't really figure out how she'll fit as Valentine. Unless Wildhorn has a really interesting interpretation of Valentine...

*sigh* And again! I guess this is no surprise, however. Now SOM says it's available in December - let's see if this holds.
