Btw: Call me crazy but I have bought a ticket for tomorrow evening, too. I just have one for tomorrow afternoon anyway... ;D No, that's not crazy. If you're in town and have time and are enjoying the show, that's totally normal. Yeah, that's the order the characters are listed in the libretto, too. I'm personally pretty unforgiving of Kata ever since seeing her Elisabeth live and I doubt I would like her in this role either, but not everyone feels the same way and I'm glad she sounded better than expected. I'm eagerly waiting for your more detailed report once you're back home and have time to write it!

About 1 euro. :-)
I also love it how their program booklets cost about 500 forints at most (less than 2 euros). Safira, did they have any Rebecca programs for sale yet?

Safira, did they have any Rebecca programs for sale yet? No and I didn´t find anyone who could tell me when it´ll be there. *sigh* At least I got a poster... Right now I´m happy I had bought the third ticket, too. The show was better that the first one I saw (more details in the show report - I´ve already started writing). And the view from the second balcony was interesting compared to the parkett! Oh, I have to correct myself: the castlist at the theatre has a different order. Favell and Mrs Danvers are listed on positons 5 and 4 (I think). But I forgot who´s number 3 then. *should have taken a photo*

Operettszínház sells one thicker program that has information and photos of all the shows they are performing this spring, including Rebecca. I guess they'll eventually make a real individual program, too, because that bigger thing was printed before they made the official photos of the production. I took a photo of the cast list at the theatre on Monday and in that Danvers is listed as 3rd. Then come Mrs van Hopper, Beatrice, Favell and Crawley, in that order. I guess they're still trying to decide the order.

They used the photos of last years Broadway festival for Rebecca. I guess they're still trying to decide the order. But they have one order on stage already. Why don´t they use this one all the time?

There are also other shows where the order on the board and the order on the stage are different. They don't always seem to be able to make up their minds... Lots and lots of pictures from the performances here: www.operettszinhaz.hu/galeria.php?kategoria=160

A cast recording is coming out this week: www.operett.hu/operett.php?pid=read&hId=594These actors are listed as being there in the signing event when the CD is released, so they're probably the ones who will be on the CD: Szinetár Dóra, Bereczki Zoltán, Polyák Lilla, Földes Tamás, Füredi Nikolett, Mészáros Árpád Zsolt, Pirgel Dávid. Will let you know if I hear anything different. It will be a highlights CD with 16 songs.

They´ve finished the CD fast, then. I just read a few days agio they´d started working at in on April 30th. It´s not the cast I dreamt of, but better this than nothing. Still I´d prefer the second cast, especially Ben and Maxim.

To my big surprise, I actually preferred the 1st cast, especially singing-wise. They're definitely not my ideal cast, but they sang the roles better than the shouting 2nd cast, and the ages didn't really disturb me after all. I haven't yet seen Lilla, but I liked also Veronika Nádasi much more than I liked Kata. And yay for Nikolett Füredi as Beatrice on CD! The only one I liked much more in the 2nd cast was László Sánta as Ben, he somehow brought a lot more into the role than Dávid Pirgel.
