I agree with the poster that called Phantom of Manhattan Fanfiction.
Can someone give an example of a Musical sequel that succeeded?

There are 2 Musical Taboos that shouldn't be broken:
1. Don't make musical sequels
2. Don't make musicals that is sourced from Movies

2. Don't make musicals that is sourced from Movies I'd have to disagree with that. Some of the BEST musicals are based off of movies, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, The Producers, Grey Gardens.

I was leaning towards Carrie, The Wedding Singer, Spamalot and Legally Blonde . Note from Brae - I messed up ment to hit "Quote" instead of "Modify". Nothing was edited - sorry for my error

Valjean87 have you seen Legally blonde, the musical ?!, the music is great, the sets are fantastics and the costumes superb. Don't just jump and say bad things without knowing anything about it

I've seen the costumes and heard some of the music but I don't like some songs(I forgot some), and the only thing I liked is costumes and sets. Its one of those shows that I haven't stomach listened to all the way in order to like it.

I was leaning towards Carrie, The Wedding Singer, Spamalot and Legally Blonde . I grew up watching Monty Python and though Spamalot was a GREAT musical adaptation of the Holy Grail. Wedding Singer - I have never seen, but I can tell you I like the OBC better then I like the movie LOL

I'm prepared to thoroughly enjoy Legally Blonde. I LOVE "Omigod You Guys" and I can't wait to hear the rest of the music.

I've got the book.
Master and Margeritha is out and Phantom is getting full priority. It's going to happen and it might work.

A sequel of the Phantom would be nice, if the music stands as great as the original...but as for the story...I can't figure what on earth will he imagine... I just say this: with a sequel ALW will murder the Phantom of the Opera... he will destroy the original as he did on the movie for sure...

What about Snoopy!!! The Musical sequel to YAGMCB? I don't like to judge a stage musical before it's out. However, Movie musicals are always available for my ridicule. I just loath them. Unless they're those direct from Broadway ones. Those are good.
