Oh, excellent. Then there's a chance I'll get employed with an actual salary before it closes and can go to see it.

Great, I'll be poor after spending spring 2010 in Budapest and travelling to Vienna every other weekend. ;D

*bounce* I'm not sure which I'm happier about - Thomas being there or Uwe not being there. Not that I'd have believed in the Uwe rumours, but you can never be completely sure. The rest of the cast should be announced today, too. *virtual hugs her theatre tickets*

Meh...how original...let me guess...Sarah will be Jessica Kessler? Or Marjan Shaki? And Abronsious Gernot? Let's go with a completly original, never seen cast... Still as long as he doesn't leave Count of Monte Cristo...'cause I do still hope to see Monte Cristo while I don't plan to see Tanz , specially 'cause I'm not even that fond of Thomas as Krolock...

Yes, I've understood that Gernot will play Abronsius. It may be a "boring" choice, but he and Thomas rocked the theatre in the concerts and are (one of) the best actors for their roles out there. VBW needs a name and Thomas is popular in Vienna, and they could have also gotten a much worse "name" there like Kevin Tarte. I do fear that we'll see Marjan as Sarah and Lukas Perman as Alfred and I don't trust their singing & acting talents, although they may of course surprise me. An unknown understudy Krolock would have been nice, too, because Aleksander di Capri has been in the productions ever since Stuttgart and there must be more good Krolocks somewhere...

Yup. Since they apparently weren't ready for a totally new name, Thomas is definitely the best choice from the old stars. Uwe would have been a total nightmare, but I wouldn't have been too impressed with, for example, the above mentioned Mr. Tarte either.
If it's good enough, it doesn't get boring very quickly. Now, all I need is tickets.

Meh the most of you are never happy. Should they find a way to resurrect Steve barton for a one of performance of Tanz you'd all still yap about something. (Although I'm no exception) xD Would you rather have some unknowns who could be very bad in the roles? Better the devil you know?
I am however, happy. I think this will be a good production. And hope... it has a good run.

I think it would be interesting to see what Uwe could find in the character of Krolock. But, oh my dear Lord of Darkness, his voice is ruined and , well, I'm his fan but I must admit him as Krolock would be now a painful nightmare.

Meh the most of you are never happy. Come on! I think only one person commenting in this thread so far hasn't been happy. And I'm going to be seriously cross with you if suddenly in your definition, Fantasma gets to represent most of the forumers. I'm perfectly happy with this news. And of course they were going to hire some big names into the leads to ensure ticket sales, at least it's some people who are actually good.

I didn't wanna seem rude for singling him out... so I sort of generalized... But since you've done it for me... Thank you P.s. I know you're happy with this news ;D

Well, if I wanted to, I might find it ruder that after several of us have expressed our happy squee about this news, and then he comes and does his usual bout of negativity about Borchert!Krolock (I don't think it's any news that Fantasma doesn't like him in the role) then it's suddenly "most of you" like the rest of us don't exist. Next time, try saying "some of you".
