Well, if anyone can bring something fresh into that role, it would certainly be Drew. Let's hope he'll do well.
I'm not sure if Melanie's voice is powerful enough for Magda but I really hope she gives a great performance. This girl really needs more love. I saw her in Tarzan opposite Alex Klaws and thought she ought to have been first cast Jane. I was really impressed.

I really hope they'll do something about the chest hair. At least button his shirt. First comments I've seen have been positive. I'm curious to see/hear what Drew will be like.

Drew looks cool as Von Krolock...but that Sarah, whoever she is, looks even better with blond hair (I bet they'll ruin it by puting an ugly brown/red wig on her...)

Sarah is being played by Barbara Obermaier.

I think he is able to, but he doesn't want to. ;D And apparently he doesn't. In the finale when he appears with the "modern gothic" clothes, he keeps the shirt open...At least judging by the photos of the new Programm...

Take your time. The vampires are going to leave Vienna by June, 2011. In the finale when he appears with the "modern gothic" clothes, he keeps the shirt open. Graf von Krol rock ;D

Back from seeing the show three times - twice in Vienna and once in Stuttgart. The Vienna cast are on fire at the moment, with Drew bringing a lot of energy to the role and keeping the game up. Lukas is still rather love/hate - you either find him adorable as Alfred or boring, but I found myself in the former camp. Marjan is amazing, as are the rest of the principles except for poor old Gernot Kranner, who really needs to move on or at least stop swallowing his words. I do like the new sets for the most part, although I miss Krolock looking down over everybody at the end of Stärker vs. where he is now in front of the door.
That said...can someone people wave a cross in front of the Palladium and put the Stuttgart production down already? I got Kevin the night I went and he was clearly bored, the Sarah was a cover and screamed vs. sang, and the sets have been stripped enough that they look like a second rate tour playing to a venue that's way too large for its own good.
