Okay folks, time to simmer down please. We all have our opinions and that's fine. But when it crosses into the personal attacks & rude/bad language, that is where I feel it's time to draw the line.
I really don't want to have to lock this thread, or remove posts, but, if it continues I will have no choice. I will be to editing a couple of posts to removed language/words a few members have complained to me about.
So please continue the discussion, but in a respectful manner.
Thanks

Interesting now that our discussion has shifted a bit to Maxim. I think both Uwe and Thomas are good based on the material I've seen and experienced. However, for me, both have something missing. I think it might be charm haha... I just couldn't see what made "I" that fascinated with them just after that very first meeting. I've never read the book but from how I picture Maxim, I imagine someone/something like Toby Stephens' Rochester would be my ideal. Of course Toby doesn't do (German) musicals but I'd have thought James Barbour (another Rochester) would have been perfect on Broadway. I was really surprised to see him end up as Favell.
When Thomas leaves Stuttgart to play Krolock in Berlin, I wonder if they'll bring in someone new or just leave it to Arvid. I'd love to see what Drew or Jan would do with the role. Drew because I have the same bias on him as I do with Lisa... yes, I'm a huge Rudolf fan... and Jan because I heard his "Gott Warum" on his album and loved it.
