I think we may have talked about this before here. Anyways, there's a new article at Playbill. www.playbill.com/news/article/97110.htmlI don't think there's another man who could make me so ecstatic and skeptic about a show at the same time. My fingers are crossed. And the little comment at the very end.... he's going to write two more musicals to debut in Europe. Why am I more excited about these than any of the other ones he's writing? *squee*

A reading of the new musical was recently held in New York. The cast featured... Michael Shawn Lewis as the villain Taafe.
*Squee!*
I *love* Michael Lewis. *sssiiiiiiiiiigh*. He's the only reason I want to see WiW on Broadway.

I think it would be strange for me to see a Rudolf who doesn't sing "Schatten"... ;D But I am quite curious about it... And I pretty much like Wildhorn's music...

Let's just hope it won't immitate "Elisabeth"... We're preparing a fruit basket over at DMF just in case! Nene's got the grapefruit; I'm stocking up on cantaloupes! MiladyDeWinter

MiladyDeWinter And I can bring the EXTREMELY ripe tomatoes!! ;D Heehee.. For now, I remain 60% skeptical, 40% optimistic. I wonder how the European audience will take it?

Well, I think that as long as he doesn't screw up the material or blatantly rip off Elisabeth he should be ok. Europe seems to like him a whole lot more than the US.
